YBC/Baptism

A great day seeing Michael getting baptised ( in the sea!) Followed by a church fellowship lunch.

Why baptism?
People choose to be baptised as a public declaration of wanting to commit their lives to and be identified as a follower of Jesus Christ.
We see public baptism is the bible (Acts 2) Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off – for all whom the Lord our God will call.’
Acts 2:38‭-‬39 NIVUK
